Thank you for visiting Laserfire Creations!
Our laser is 50 watt CO2 laser. The cutting bed measures 12" x 24" (610 x 305mm), with a depth of 8" (203mm").
Objects to be cut with the laser can not be larger than these dimensions. Also, this is only a 2-D process. We can NOT create 3-D items with the laser.
Our CNC Router bed measures 25" x 36", and can cut to a depth of 5". This new machine enables us to cut many other sorts of items that are 3-D,
and also to cut 2-D items out of materials we could not cut with the laser.
Graphics files we can use include CorelDraw, Autocad, and Adobe Illustrator. When you send us your own graphic file
we will make a one-off item for you from it. Images that are your personal property will not be reused by us.
Images that we design ourselves, or that are publicly available, are ours to reuse after your job is completed.
The same basic agreement applies to structural design, electronic circuitry, or any other aspect of a product
that may be developed by us during the design process.
Image files we can use for engraving with the laser include all standard types (i.e. .tif, .png), but they MUST be very high resolution
in order to look good when engraved. These types of images require modification before they can be used with the laser.
If you want an image engraved from a photograph or other type of image file that you own, or that we can acquire,
we can make the engraving file for you at an additional cost
Please understand that each unique design job could entail extra costs, which we will advise you of before starting work on your project.
As each custom job is unique, please e-mail us to determine exact arrangements and pricing. No design work will be started before an agreement is reached, and due to the high cost of many of the materials we use, payment is expected before actual fabrication of the product begins.
For all custom work, the price of each item will take into account the type and amount of materials, time and labor to create the image file,
machine runtime, manual fabrication time, and actual shipping cost. We endeavor to keep our prices fair and as low as possible,
but be advised the prices for custom items will always be higher than for the pre-designed items shown on this website.
We accept PayPal or personal checks.
We endeavour to fill all orders as quickly as possible. Lead times will always depend on the number of jobs already in process
and the fabrication complexity of each item ordered. We also must consider Matt's work commitments outside of Laserfire Creations.
Please understand that producing highly customized items can be a lengthy process, especially if they involve the designing of an image file.
We will always provide a time estimate with the price quote, for your approval, before work begins on your item.
We are unable to take orders over the phone without prior e-mail contact. If you have any questions or ideas to discuss with us,
please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
and we will get back to you promptly. Since much of our work requires customization,
it is necessary to discuss specifics with those customers before the product is created. Please don't hesitate to write us!

Thanks for visiting our site!
Thank you for reviewing our policies. We look forward to working with you on your unique and exciting projects!
While it may seem that the prices for some of our products are higher than our competition's prices, or that custom work is considerably
more expensive than stock items on the website, please bear in mind that all our products are crafted from the best possible materials
with a great deal of attention to quality. We use only cast acrylic for engraving because it produces superior frosted details.
Items to be fabricated are designed creatively but to customer specs, and machined to fit together smoothly and evenly, then finished
and carefully assembled by hand. All items are hand-polished, cleaned, and thoroughly inspected.
All of our pre-designed products are made to these exacting standards as well.
We price according to what we know these materials and workmanship are worth,
and hope that our customers can see the value of purchasing high quality items to use with their own creations.
After all, model builders pour themselves into producing fine works of art, and we believe that the display products
we sell should complement those works. Your model deserves the best!
If you don't see the material you're interested in using on these lists, please email us to see if we can accommodate your need.
